Smores

Everyone loves to make Smores at a campfire. Marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers are so easy to make. Not really! If you are like everyone I have watched make Smores, you have 2 or 3 people come to you at the same time with Marshmallows that are falling off the stick and you haven't gotten the chocolate open for all three. Not to mention you don't have anywhere to put them, since it is a campfire. By the time they leave, you have a mess of wrappers that you have to pick up if you can find them in the dark. Someone may be upset because their hands are now all sticky because they had to catch their marshmallow before it fell on the ground. Such a great treat can be no fun for mom!

I was at a party one time and watched the host hand out Fudge Striped Cookies and a bag of Marshmallows. Why hadn't I thought of that. Why haven't we all thought of that. They are like a graham cracker and already have chocolate. No extra wrappers. You won't have too much chocolate. You won't have too little chocolate. Of course, you can go ahead and continue on your path to all that work, but why would you.

And, this is such a conversation started at a bonfire. Everyone wants one because it's new. And, when everyone has had enough Smores, someone will finish off the cookies and you have less clean-up.
